The winemakers are passionate people, and will enjoy letting you sample their products, and presenting to you the grapevines they came from.

Full of tradition, our typically Catalan village has been able to preserve its identity for many years as well as its character which is considered to be its charm. Walking by the traditional streets and meeting the inhabitants will reveal to you the unsuspected treasures: old residences, small squares of yesteryear, and a Roman chapel hidden behind a magnificent greenery …

Torreilles remains one of the last sanctuaries of the Mediterranean Sea, enjoying a rich soil and a preserved nature. Its long natural beach sheltered from sand dunes is an official oasis of peace classified in the Coastal Academy. It is an invitation to discover the pleasures of life which will be for you a link between relaxation and the discovery of an exceptional site.

Barcarès

Discover the Barcarès village where you can walk by the seaside and discover the market rich in colour, as well as the fishing port where you can buy fresh products directly from the fishermen.

Don’t be surprised if you’re on a walk and meet a big grounded boat … It’s known as the famous Lydia. This Flagship of the Resort of Barcarès is the symbol of the tourist attractiveness of the coast of Languedoc-Roussillon.

During your discovery of Barcarès, we recommend you to go for a walk to the pond. This natural space classified “Natura 2000” will show you fishermen’s authentic houses. There are some casotes (fishermen houses in catalan) created with reeds, situated on a small beach in the North of the hotel domain called “The Island of the Fishermen”. You can also find them in the neighbourhood of Coudalère and as well as in the fishing port which is a reconstruction.

Canet

Walking across the old streets of the city you will discover the castle, the shops and the numerous vineyards where you can have a unique opportunity to taste the wines.

In Canet beach, it is the liveliness which dominates! Every evening you can enjoy its traditional market with hand-made products, its shops and its casino. If you want to go and have a drink with your family or your friends, you will find bars and restaurants of all kinds in the numerous little streets of the city.
If you want to have a moment of escape, we recommend you to take a boat and tour the coast. Several miles off the shore of Canet-en-Roussillon, you can have the opportunity to meet dolphins and sperm whales. Equip yourselves with your binoculars and your cameras and come to discover the maritime fauna.
Also take advantage of other nautical activities such as the scuba diving, jet-ski, the towed buoys, the Flyboard and the windsurfing board.

Argelès-Sur-Mer

At the foot of the Albères mountain range, where the Pyrenées dive into the sea, the Argelès-sur-Mer village combines happiness, lifestyle, green tourism and seaside pleasures.
Take benefit from your escapade in Argelès-sur-Mer in order to discover the small jewels of the rocky coast, such as Collioure, Port-Vendres and Banyuls.
You can also take a stroll around the port and see the numerous boats.
As far as summer partying and long evenings on the beach are concerned, we advise you to make a tour near L’allée des pins. You will find there numerous shops and bars nicely decorated.

Perpignan

The famous artist Salvador Dali considered the railway station of Perpignan the center of the world. Thus during your holidays in the campsite Sunêlia Les Tropiques you should absolutely visit Perpignan.
You can discover the Palace of Kings of Majorca, the Castillet, the Cathedral Saint Jean and its busy streets, or just stroll along the banks of Têt and relax in the Saint Vincent Park.

Perpignan offers you several museums and festivals which one should not miss:  the Visa Photography Festival, the Natural History Museum and the Aviation Museum. You can also come to sway hips in the Perpignan streets on the occasion of the music festival, during which the city comes to life till the end of the night.

Rocky Coast And Nature Reserve

The seabed of the region is classified as a protected site. In Banyuls-sur-Mer you can discover the seabed rich with life and appreciate its delicateness.
Moreover, the road along the beach from Argelès-sur-Mer to Port Bou (Collioure, Port-Vendres) is rich in contrast and beautiful views of the seaside cliffs and the Mediterranean Sea. You can cross the Spanish border and be amazed at how the landscape changes between these two countries.

Castelnou

Castelnou is labeled as one of the most “Beautiful Villages of France “. It was built on the former site of an ancient feudal castle. Its ramparts surround the paved streets and are lined with houses in ochre tints, underlined by ivy and oleanders. It’s an authentic Catalan village, lost in the middle of a magnificent nature. Castelnou is one of the most remarkable sites of the Pyrénées-Orientales and a well-preserved medieval village.

Villefranche Duconflent

The village is situated in a strategic place, between two rivers. This former trade city which was considered to be the capital of Conflent kept excellent track of its history and its status of being a defensive site.
It was built under the management of the architect Vauban, and it played its defensive role and kept its vocation for a long time.
Today, the village serves to be an attractive postcard with its stone walls and its arts and crafts.

Walking in the street we can find numerous workshops of craftsmen presenting local products: pottery, cake stores and soap shops. The streets keep their medieval character, with numerous buildings dating from that period.
This village is labelled among the most “Beautiful Villages of France”.

You can find our best wines, Catalan specialty donuts (Rousquille), turons (Spanish dessert sweet), craft olive oil and our excellent cooked meats.
