The palace of the kings of Majorca in Perpignan ( a daily bus leaving directly from Torreilles Plage) one of the most beautiful fortified castles from the 13th century.
The Castillet, formal gate in the Perpignan city walls, was built in the 14th century.
Today it's the museum of popular Catalan art and traditions.
Villefranch du Conflent. The fort Libéria, built by Vauban, is connected by 734 steps with the medieval town, with his narrow streets and artisan shops.
